About Us
We are a group of local volunteers who are dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of seniors aged 55 years and up. We are a federal 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization and we operate entirely by donations from the public, fundraisers, grants and sponsorships.

Our Mission
The mission of the Woodland Senior Enrichment Group, with the support of the community, is to provide a welcoming place for Seniors to engage in social, physical, educational and wellness activities to enrich their lives and improve their overall well-being.
Our Story
WSEG was started as a response to several posts on some of Woodland’s Community Facebook groups, asking if Woodland had somewhere for Seniors to go to participate in activities. There were a lot of responses to these posts and being that Woodland did not have a senior center, our founders saw a need and decided to do something about it.
An initial meeting was announced on Facebook and from this first meeting in March of 2024 a group was formed, then a Board of Directors and by August we had become a WA State Nonprofit Corporation. In December of 2024 we received status as a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization.
In September of 2024, WSEG had an Open House with forty attendees and started having activities for Seniors: Walking Groups, Chair Yoga, Fun & Games and Pinochle were some of our first activities. Since then a wider variety of activities have been offered.
WSEG continues to seek ways to enrich the lives of Seniors and have an impact on the community.
